Fulks Comes Away From Utah Visit With Leader

JC athlete Kyle Fulks visited Utah over the weekend and now has one school on top

Kyle Whittingham continues to talk about upgrading the speed at Utah. Kyle Fulks would do just that.

The athlete out of Blinn Junior College in Texas visited Utah officially this past weekend and the Utes made an impression.

"The visit went very well. Utah is a bit different than Texas with all of the mountains. I liked it a lot. Troy McCormick was my host and he's from Katy (TX) so we come from the same district."

Utah showed Fulks a variety of things they have to offer including the new football facility.

"We watched practice and toured the facilities. They were amazing. I also really enjoyed the game too."

Despite Utah's loss, The two-way players has Utah riding high on his list.

"I like program a lot. The way they play offense and defense is exciting and I like the schemes. The loss didn't alter my thoughts on Utah. They're in the driver's seat right now."

The 5'8" 170 pounder is starting to pick up more interest from other schools and has two other offers at this time.

"To go along with Utah, I have an offer from Middle Tennessee State and a track offer from Texas Tech. I haven't played yet this season because of an injury, but my first game is this week."

Even with Utah leading, Fulks wants to play out his football season and see what happens before making a decision.

"I don't have a timeframe for a decision right now. We'll see what happens now that I'll be playing again this week, but like I said, Utah is in the driver's seat."
