Utah went up against some heavy hitters and landed the services of Hart, thanks in part to his high school teammate, Tyson Cisrow. Hart took official visits to Michigan State, Boston College, North Carolina, and Iowa, and also had offers from Wisconsin, Mississippi State, and Georgia Tech, among others. Huge get for Utah to pull off in January.
Arguably the gem of Utah's 2015 recruiting class, Hart is everything you look for physically in a Pac 12 level impact player on the defensive side of the ball. With the way Utah turns athletes into monsters in their front 7, there's no reason to think that Hart can't turn into an elite player early in his career. With great athleticism, ball skills, and a man's body, he's ready to play right away. This kid has all Pac 12 written all over him.
2015 Projected Role
Hart is probably the most physically ready incoming freshman. He'll come in as a defensive end, but with the lack of depth at linebacker, you'll likely see him playing a role similar to Jason Whittingham where sometimes he's standing up, and other times will have his hand in the dirt. Either way and you should see him out on the field early getting reps and could turn into a rotational player as the season progresses.
