Number 1 stays the same, but number 2 falls hard

Utah maintains their place at the top of the rankings

1. Utah (4-0, 1-0)

The Utes enjoyed their bye and will now face Cal at home while hosting College Gameday.

2. Stanford (4-1, 2-0)

The Cardinal suddenly look like an offensive juggernaut after putting up 55 on Arizona. Oh, that defense is pretty good too.

3. Cal (5-0, 2-0)

It wasn't easy against Wazzu, but the Bears pulled out a tough one. Now they'll really be tested when they head to Salt Lake City.

4. USC (3-1, 1-1)

The Trojans were off this week and now get Washington for a Thursday night

5. UCLA (4-1, 1-1)

UCLA UCLA'd another one in falling at home to a reeling Arizona State team. Those defensive injuries look to have taken their toll and a bye week comes at a perfect time.

6. Arizona State (3-2, 1-1)

The Sun Devils really put it on UCLA in the Rose Bowl notching a much needed win. They'll head back home to face Colorado.

7. Oregon (3-2, 1-1)

The Ducks didn't look great, but the bounced back by winning at Colorado. They'll head back to Autzen to face Wazzu next.

8. Arizona (3-2, 0-2)

Soooooooo......the Wildcats aren't repeating as South champs. They look bad and may struggle to hit the 7 win mark. A home date with Oregon State is up next.

9. Washington (2-2, 0-1)

Washington took the week off and will face USC this Thursday night in Los Angeles.

10. Washington State (2-2, 0-1)

Wazzu came oh so close to spoiling things for Cal, but some late missed opportunites did them in. A road game with Oregon awaits.

11. Colorado (3-2, 0-1)

The Buffs hung tough with Oregon for awhile before faltering late. A trip to Tempe is next.

12. Oregon State (2-2, 0-1)

Beavs were off and now travel to the desert to take on struggling Arizona.
