Pac 12 Power Rankings

The top teams continue to win while the LA teams continue to lose

1. Utah (6-0, 3-0)

The Utes ran over ASU in the 4th quarter and remain undefeated. It's on to USC next.

2. Stanford (5-1, 4-0)

The Cardinal look like a national title contender after killing UCLA. Christian McCaffrey has inserted himself in the Heisman Trophy race.

3. Cal (5-1, 2-1)

The Bears took the week off and now get UCLA on Thursday night.

4. UCLA (4-2, 1-2)

The Bruins land here because someone has to be 4th, but you could make a case for 4 or 5 other teams. They were demolished at Stanford, are in a free-fall, and now have to try to slow down Cal on Thursday night.

5. USC (3-3, 1-2)

The Trojans hung with Notre Dame for awhile, but couldn't get any offense going in the 2nd half on the way to their 3rd loss of the season. With Utah coming to town, a 4th looks probable.

6. Arizona State (4-3, 2-2)

ASU's offense was dreadful in a loss to Utah as their 2 game winning streak came to and end. They'l have a bye this week.

7. Arizona (5-2, 2-2)

The Wildcats got into a shootout with Colorado, but this doesn't look anything like the team that won the South last year. They're not very good and will host surging Wazzu on Saturday.

8. Washington State (4-2, 2-1)

The Cougars suddenly look dangerous after pasting Oregon State in a game that wasn't nearly as close as the score says. Can they keep it going on the road this week in Tucson?

9. Oregon (4-3, 2-2)

Oregon got back to their winning ways by taking down Washington in Seattle. They'll now get a week off as a reward.

10. Washington (3-3, 1-2)

A week after shocking USC, the Huskies went back home and fell to Oregon. Now they get Stanford in a game that could get ugly.

11. Colorado (3-4, 0-3)

The Buffs almost knocked off Arizona, but came up a bit short and have now lost 14 straight conference games. They'll have a great chance to end that this week in Corvallis.

12. Oregon State (2-4, 0-3)

The Beavers are brutally bad. Wazzu could have hung 80 on them on Saturday if they wanted to. Now OSU will get their best chance at a conference win this weekend when Colorado comes to town.
