Nygel King is down to two schools and discusses his Utah visit

Texas CB prospect Nygel King names a leader following his visit to Utah

"The visit went really good. They showed us around the downtown area. We went snowmobiling and out to dinner. It was a great experience."

King was hosted by a fellow Texas in cornerback Brian Allen.

"Brian was the best host I could have had. We got along great."

The 6', 175 pounder got more excited when talking about everything the school has to offer, not just the football program.

"The visit was wild. Everything was amazing. The coaches, the facilities, the school. I loved all of it."

The 2 star cornerback prospect was able to watch film on the Utah defense and likes how their corners are used.

"I think I'd fit in really well with the defense at Utah. They play a lot of man to man and I like that."

Utah continues to stress a family feel, and that was very appealing to King.

"The most important things to me when picking a school are academics and a family feel. Utah is all about academics and family."

King has a visit to visit to Virginia Tech scheduled for next weekend, but they're going to have to make a big impression to jump the Utes.

"Utah is in front right now after my visit. I'd really have to fall in love with Virginia Tech on my visit not to choose Utah."

With Virginia Tech coming up next weekend, King is planning a decision shortly after.

"I'm mostly likely going to make my decision right after my visit to Virginia Tech."

The former Houston commit missed most of his senior season with a shoulder injury, but still posted 40 tackles and 2 interceptions.
