The 2016 recruiting class for Utah closed out with a bang as the top player left on the board in the west and the top defensive lineman in the state, Maxs Tupai, picked the Utes on Wednesday at a ceremony at his high school. The product out of Utah is the highest rated in-state defensive lineman for the 2016 class and the second highest rated player overall in the state. He chose the Utes over the likes of UCLA, Oklahoma, and USC.
