UteZone breaks down ten early out-of-state prospects to watch for the class of 2018...

As Utah coaches turn their eye to the recruiting class of 2018, there are a number of out-of-state prospects already clearly on the radar. Today, UteZone breaks down 10 prospects with early offers that Ute fans should keep an eye on as recruiting efforts for the coming year begin in force. 

1 - Tommy Togiai

Notes: Elite defensive tackle prospect will be one of the top prospects in the West. Utes were among the first to offer more than a year ago. He has offers from most of the Pac-12.

2 - Kyle Phillips

Notes: Talented receiver prospect has offers from more than half of the Pac-12. He’s close friends with Ute commit Jack Tuttle.

3 - Malone Mataele

Notes: Four star athlete has long had Utah near the top of his list. He’s taken multiple unofficial visits to see the Utes and will be a priority in 2018.

4 - Chris Brown Story List

Notes: Elite running back prospect has strong early interest in the Utes and plans on taking an unofficial visit to Salt Lake City in the coming weeks.

5 - Tyler Manoa

Notes: BYU commit has shown interest in the Utes after receiving an offer last month. Manoa is one of the top defensive line prospects in Northern California.

8 - Gunner Romney

Notes: Gifted receiver whose stock has been skyrocketing in recent weeks. He received an offer from Utah earlier this week and has several Pac-12 suitors on the verge of offering. High school teammate of recent UTe signee T.J. Green.

7 - Re-al Mitchell

Notes: The dual-threat quarterback prospect received early offers from both Utah and Arizona. Several experts like him better as an ATH than a QB, and the Utes may try to convince him to commit in that role.

8 - Dylan Thomas

Notes: Explosive receiver prospect has already received offers from a handful of Pac-12 programs. Utes were among the first to offer.

9 - Isaac Taylor-Stuart

Notes: One of the top defensive back prospects in the country, Taylor-Stuart expressed early interest in the Utes after they extended one of his first P5 offers. He’s one of the hottest prospects in the country, and has subsequently received offers from nearly every major program in college football.

10 - Josh Madison

Notes: Speedy ATH that can play on both sides of the ball. Utah was his first P5 offer.
