Santa Clara 83, Utah 72
Santa Clara used a 17-2 run midway through the first half to erase a seven-point deficit and take a 29-19 edge. They would never look back and led by as many as 14. Utah closed to within 57-54 with 10:04 remaining but Santa Clara responded with a 12-2 run to finish off the visiting Utes.
Colorado 60, Utah 59
Jermyl Jackson-Wilson made a free throw with 2.1 seconds remaining to lift Colorado to a 60-59 victory over Utah. The Utes committed two crucial turnover in the final minute, with the game tied 59-59.
Utah hosts Rice (2-3) and Weber State (4-1) on Saturday and Wednesday respectively.
