Another heartbreaker for the Utes

Three-point shooting doomed the Utes in their 59-58 loss to Albany. The Great Danes knocked down 11 shots behing the arc to sink Utah in Salt Lake City.

The Utes lost their fifth game of the season by three points or less as the Utes turned the ball over with less than a second.

They also turned the ball over with 10 seconds left, leading to Albany being able to all-but run out the clock.

Brent Wilson and Jason Siggers each scored 22 points for Albany who is now riding a five-game win streak.

Stepehen Weigh led the Utes with a career high 22 points. Luke Nevill added 17 points.

Nevill put the Utes up 58-57 with jumper as the shot clock expired, but Albany answered a minute later with a fast break lay-in that put them up for good.

Utah falls to 5-8, their worst start since 1982.
