Two in a row

Utah won their second game in a row after suffering from a number of close losses. The Utes beat Wyoming 62-60 thanks to late free throw shooting.

The Utes made seven of eight free throws in the final minute to get the win. Utah actually built up a four point lead but fouled Wyoming's Eric Platt on a three-point attempt with less than five seconds left. Platt his all three free throws to cut the lead to one.

The Cowboys fouled Johnnie Bryant and the Utah guard made one of two free throws. Wyoming's Brad Jones got a look at it with no time left but he missed the runner at the buzzer.

Luke Nevill scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He had a key bucket and block in the final minute. Ricky Johns scored 11 for the Utes, while Bryant added 10.

Jones had 15 points and eight rebounds for the Cowboys, who made just 11 of 17 free throws, while the Utes hit 25 of 34.

The Utes won their second game in a row. Wyoming has lost three in a row.
