5 Minutes With Travis Still

The Spanish Fork (Utah) commit gives the Utes three wideouts in their 2011 class. He updates Scout on his offseason and senior season outlook.

How is your summer progressing?

It's going pretty good. I've been to camps and I'm lifting a lot. I went to the Utah camp and the BYU camp. We also have a team camp.

What made you choose Utah?

I love their recent history and record. They've got an incredible coaching staff. All of their coaches were great, especially Coach Hill.

Were there any other schools you considered?

Not really.

Have any other schools offered you?

BYU offered me. Washington is showing a lot of interest. So is Pitt.

How did the move to the Pac 10 affect things for you?

I was really excited. It's going to be really awesome to play against big teams like USC and in all of those big stadiums.

Will you be enrolling early?

I play two other sports (basketball and baseball), so I'll enrolling next summer.

Will you be taking a mission at some point?

I'm not sure yet. We'll see how my freshman year plays out.

What is your relationship with teammate Isaac Asiata like?

We started playing together in 7th grade. When we were freshmen, we made a pact that we would go to the same college together if we both got a D-1 offer from the same school.

What is your biggest strength as a receiver?

I'm not afraid to catch the ball or go over the middle. In our offense, I go over the middle a lot so I'm not afraid to get hit.

What are you goals for the upcoming season?

I want to be asked to play in the US Army All American Game. I also want to beat my yards and reception totals from last year. For team goals, we want to take region. That and make history by winning state. We've never won state.

What are you goals before enrolling?

I want to get stronger and faster. My 40 time is 4.5.
