Fall Camp Day 2 Recap

The energy was definitely up on day 2 as coaches looked to find separation with some of the position battles...

The intensity at practice today was much better and the coaches seemed much happier with how things went.

Victor Spike was with the number 1's today instead of Damian Payne at one of the safety spots. Justin Taplin-Ross was at the other safety spot.

Freshman linebacker VJ Fehoko was rotating in with the 1's at linebacker. He looked much more comfortable today and is going to be a beast. When they start hitting tomorrow, he's going to hurt someone.

Devonte Christopher, who had a tough first day, had a much better practice today. He made a few catches on the outside and beat the corner and safety down the sidelines more than once for touchdowns. Once he has the ball in his hands, he's very electrifying.

Tight ends Dallin Rogers looked very impressive today and could make a run at the starting tight end spot.

Freshman wide receiver Kenneth Scott impressed the coaches and looks to be headed towards the two deep.

Terrance Cain did not have a very good day today and was overthrowing a lot of his receivers, especially on quick out patterns.

Tempers flared today at the very end when quarterback Griff Robles was upended by one of the defensive ends. Quarterbacks are not to be touched at this point.

Zane Taylor spent a lot of time after practice with some of the younger lineman as they try to find a backup center.

Players will be in shoulder pads tomorrow.
