Fourth string running back Kennard Reeves ran for 105 last week at Kentucky. Third string running back Wesley Tate may play some this week. Linebacker Nick Reveiz leads the Vols in tackles with 77. He also has two interceptions. Fellow linebacker Herman Lathers has 51 tackles.

Vanderbilt's passing attack has been a liability for it all season. Last week Vandy put up 198 yards passing on Kentucky and had a rare touchdown pass by backup Jared Funk. Vanderbilt is led in passing by Larry Smith who has completed 106-220 passes for 6 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. Smith's top target is Brandon Barden who has 28 catches for 318 yards and three scores. Prentiss Waggner and Janzen Jackson each have 3 interceptions for the Vols. Malik Jackson has 4 sacks for UT. Vanderbilt is 105th nationally in sacks allowed while the Vols are 71st in sacks registered.

Vandy's No. 100 ranked rushing defense will face the No. 70 ranked Tennessee rushing offense. Taruren Poole has 856 rushing yards for 9 touchdowns to lead the Volunteers. Vanderbilt's Sean Richardson has 81 tackles while middle linebacker Chris Marve has 72. Each has seven tackles for losses. Last week Vandy gave up over 300 yards rushing to Kentucky.

The No. 41 and improving Tennessee passing offense takes on the once mighty Vanderbilt passing defense which is now ranked No. 95th nationally. Casey Hayward has 5 interceptions on the season for Vandy. Defensive tackle Rob Lohr leads the Commodores in sacks with four. Tennessee's freshman quarterback Tyler Bray has played well during the past two games and this season has passed for 961 yards and 10 touchdowns. Denarius Moore and Gerald Jones each have 34 catches. Luke Stocker has 28 catches.

Vanderbilt students will mostly be gone, except for the international students, for Thanksgiving holiday. It won't be much of a home field advantage for Vandy. The stadium will probably be host to 25-30 K Vol fans. UT is also playing for a bowl bid.
