SM: When did you actually verbally commitment to Vanderbilt?

MS: I made my decision on Thanksgiving Day.

SM: What were some of the things that helped you to decide that Vanderbilt was where you wanted to spend the next 4-5 years of your life?

MS: Vandy has a good fan-base, and great academics. Those were just a couple of things that help me make my decision.

SM: What other schools did you consider before making your final decision?

MS: Southern Miss

SM: Shortly after making your decision, Coach Caldwell announced his resignation from Vanderbilt. Is that going to play into effect with you recruitment?

MS: A little bit. But I'm still committed to them.

SM: Have you been contemplating on the idea of visiting other schools?

MS: Yes sir. I plan to visit Southern Miss.

SM: How soon are you looking to visit Southern Miss?

MS: I'm thinking about visiting them real soon. Actually I was heading up there last weekend for a visit, but I didn't make it because I got into a car accident. Top Stories
