Commitments' Predictions: Vandy vs. UGA

The Vanderbilt Commodores welcome the Georgia Bulldogs to Nashville this weekend. We talked with several verbal pledges from both teams to learn their thoughts on Saturday's contest.

Georgia commitments

Quayvon Hicks: "34-6. I think the Dawgs are ready. They have sent a statement to the SEC East that they are the same team they were at the beginning of the year. I think it's gonna be a great game."

Tray Matthews: "I believe that UGA is going to win maybe 21 to 14. I know it will be close, and in order for UGA to win of course their defense and special teams has to come out ready to play."

Greg Pyke: "31 Georgia, 14 Vanderbilt."

Vanderbilt commitments:

Caleb Azubike: "Vandy's defense will dominate Aaron Murray and UGA's offense causing frustration and turnovers, and with Malcom Mitchell not playing their main offensive weapon will be Olson Charles. He will be SHUTDOWN, and the BLACK AND GOLD wins 24 to 21."

Colby Cooke: "Vandy has the ability to win, and differences I think is Vandy's defense. Should be a good game."

Blake Fromang: "28-24 Vandy. Difference is Vandy's secondary."

Darreon Herring: "I believe the score will be 31-14 with Vanderbilt on top. Vanderbilt's defense will make a huge difference in the game. If the offense can put up enough points to keep the defense fresh and not constantly on the field then we will be victorious."

Brian Kimbrow: "Vandy 28 UGA 21. We're simply just better."

Jaborian McKenzie: "Vandy 27 Georgia 17. Vandy defense steps up big in this game."

Stephen Weatherly: "21-7. We need to come out strong and fast on offense and defense." Top Stories
