I think every SEC fan would just like to forget about this week and move on to November 5th. Certainly Alabama and LSU are spending time preparing, preparing, preparing. The entire college football scene is just holding its breath in anticipation.

LAST WEEK (5-0)-----OVERALL (51-10)

Before anything else, preparation is the key to success. Alexander Graham Bell

Mississippi @ Auburn – The slippery slope just gets steeper and steeper for Mr. Nutt. Auburn 38 – Mississippi 14 Georgia vs. Florida – Just flip a coin. Considering the UGA demeanor at the Vanderbilt game, my sentimental favorite is: Gators 28 – UGA 24.

Mississippi State @ Kentucky – Mississippi State is desperately seeking SEC redemption for the horrible year they are having. What better way to get it than by pummeling Kentucky. MSU 35 – UK 14

South Carolina @ Tennessee – Two strange sets of circumstances meeting each other in this game. Tennessee is hitching its wagon to a true freshman quarterback, who is a total unknown. Without a running game, that's a recipe for disaster. But South Carolina, without a competent quarterback of their own, sans Lattimore as running back, is also a mystery. Defense will decide this one. Gamecocks 12 – UTK 10

Arkansas @ Vanderbilt – The game against Army notwithstanding, Vandy's passing game is not potent enough to keep up with Arkansas. And VU's pass defense is prone to giving up big plays. Razorbacks 31 – Vandy 17 Top Stories
