9/18/2012 4-star safety Leon McQuay (Seffner, FL) has setup an official visit to Vanderbilt on October 13 for the Commodores game with Florida. McQuay also has a visit set for Michigan and is considering a visit to Florida State. LINK.

9/18/2012 2014 quarterback prospect Austin Herink (Cleveland, TN) is planning a visit to Vanderbilt. Herink is also hearing from Mississippi State, LSU, Tennessee and Duke. LINK.

9/17/2012 Vanderbilt has been calling 3-star defensive tackle Cornelius Henderson (Duncanville, TX) "a lot". Missouri and Arkansas State also showing an interest. LINK.

9/13/2012 Vanderbilt is showing an interest in 2014 quarterback Kendrick Doss (Florence, AL). Doss commented to Scout.com's Gene Swindoll, "Vanderbilt has told me that I can come up there any time that I want to." The signal caller believes that Vanderbilt is close to extending an offer. LINK.

9/11/2012 3-star Vanderbilt wide receiver commit Dominic Walker (Orlando, FL) is considering a visit to Nebraska. LINK.

BASKETBALL

9/15/2012 Vanderbilt reportedly received a visit from 4-star power forward Austin Nichols (Memphis, TN). Nichols has offers from Tennessee, Virginia, Duke, Memphis and Auburn in addition to Vandy. Some reports from Twitterland indicate he had a great visit. LINK.
