OVERVIEW:

Kenny Ladler, who has 26 career starts under his belt, will be relied on to provide leadership to the Commodore secondary during the upcoming season. Ladler has been one of the top defenders for Vandy over the past few seasons and his stats back it up. Ladler has 200 career tackles, 10 tackles for losses, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and four interceptions. He's also defended six passes since coming to Vandy.

PROJECTION FOR 2013: Starter. Ladler is one of the reasons many college football analysts believe Vanderbilt's defense will be among the nation's best in 2013.
