Blasingame, 6-foot-1, 200-pounds, was a three-year starter at Buckhorn. He played mostly cornerback as a junior but switched to safety for his senior season. In 2013, he was named second team All-State and All-Tennessee Valley.
Blasingame was recruited by Vanderbilt's new wide receivers coach, Gerry Gdowski.
