Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian linebacker Eddie Rudinski (6-3, 213), is still waiting for his first offer, but the communication with schools is flowing.

"I'm talking with a lot of schools, especially in the Pac-12 and the ACC," said Rudinski. "We'll see what happens in the spring, but a lot of schools have said they're going to come by and see me."

Rudinski has played primarily outside linebacker but said that he could grow into playing in the middle.

"When I started out, it was as an outside linebacker, but I put on weight and can move so middle linebacker definitely is an option," said Rudinski.

Rudinski has learned under the watchful eye of former NFL linebacker and 1998 Butkus Award Winner Chris Claiborne, both at Oaks Christian and on the 7v7 circuit playing for the Frat Boyz.

"Playing for Claiborne, when he came in, he brought an energy to the linebacker corps," said Rudinski. "He was really focused on the fundamentals and then we progressed as players and kept getting better."

Rudinski camped at the Los Angeles NFTC and is playing with the Frat Boyz for the spring.

This summer, he plans to camp with UCLA and USC.

Academically, he has a 3.5 weighted GPA with a pair of AP classes.
