Moon holds offers from USF, Georgia Tech, Jacksonville State, and Chattanooga.
"Georgia Tech likes me in the wing-T ad in the triple option," he said. "They noted that my quickness in play is what they like best about me and that I'd be a good fit in that offense. We have similar blocking schemes at Signal Mountain. USF said they liked how I am big and long and can move on the edge. They liked my agility and mobility at tight end."
Moon's other two offers are at offensive tackle, the position he'll play his senior season at Signal Mountain.
"I feel like it's been an easy transition to offensive tackle," Moon explained. "I just want to play college football, so wherever the coaches see me and like me the best is where I'll play.
"Purdue and Ole Miss were just at the school today. I'm in the process of setting up visits to both schools. My family and I are going to sit down and look at the schools that we're serious about and are serious about us and focus on going to those camps this summer. We'll be doing that soon.
"If all goes well, I'd like to have my decision made before my senior year. If one school hasn't clearly emerged then I'll take my official visits, but I'm thinking I'll have a decision made by mid-fall. I'm looking for a school that's home-like, that I'll feel comfortable there for the next four or five years. A big part will also be my relationships with the head coach and the staff."
Moon was an All-State performer in Tennessee AA last season. He is being recruited by Vanderbilt by Charles Bankins.
