Nashville, Tenn. Pearl-Coan running back Keshawn Vaughn has more than a half dozen scholarship offers with his first BCS offer coming on Wednesday from California.
On Thursday night, the 5-foot-10, 199-pound Vaughn added another BCS offer - from Louisville. He visited with assistant coach Pete Nochta and was extended the offer.
It was at least the fourth offer to a prospect in the state of Tennessee in two days for the U of L staff, which is out this week.
Vaughn also has offers from California, East Carolina, Arkansas State, Mercer and Austin Peay. He's hearing from Georgia Tech, Illinois and Purdue among others.
A track star in the sprints, Vaughn ran for 2,400 yards last season with 30 touchdowns for a team that went 10-2.
Vaughn is a three-star prospect and ranked as the No. 90 running back in the country, according to Scout.com.
