Jennings is taking his time

Gary Jennings' recruitment has gained momentum in recent months. The 2015 Stafford (Va.) Colonial Forge wide receiver gave Scout.com the latest.

"I have offers from Duke, Marshall, Vanderbilt, UVa, West Virginia and Wisconsin," said Gary Jennings. "West Virginia, UVa, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin are the schools that are recruiting me the hardest."

His most recent visit was last weekend.

"I went to Vanderbilt and liked it a lot," said the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Jennings. "I like the program that they have there and the new coaching staff, too"

What's next for Jennings?

"As of right now, I don't have any more visits set in stone," he said. "I've basically gone to all the schools that have offered me except Wisconsin. I do want to get up there, but just have to figure out when."

The Colonial Forge star is not ready to tip his hand.

"They're all doing a pretty good job making their push, but I wouldn't give any schools the edge right now," Jennings said.

"I think I'd like to make a decision sooner than later, but I'm not trying to rush anything. I'm just going to see how things go."

A few things will help him make his decision.

"The main factors are life after football, so academics are important, and a place where I feel comfortable," he said.
