The 6-foot-6, 300-pound offensive lineman committed to the Vanderbilt assistant coach Keven Lightner on June 30th, 2014.
"I thought that Vanderbilt was the best fit for me all-around in every way possible. The football, the level of academics, the coaching staff has established themselves all over the country at every level. It's just a great place to go. The city of Nashville is fantastic."
Skule chose Vanderbilt over offers from Navy, Rutgers, Virginia, and West Virginia.
"I'm excited about (new offensive coordinator) Andy Ludwig. I think he'll put points on the board. Coach (Kevin) Lightner brings a lot to the table in his ability to coach the line. I can't wait to get started working with him. I'm very eager to get to campus next summer with this signing class and get started on winning a championship."
A state champion in 2013 at Centreville High School in Northern Virginia, Skule was named first team All-District, first team All-Region, first team All-State, and first team All-Metro for his senior season. He is the son of Christy and Josh Skule, and brother to Jackson, Joe and Taylor.
