The Vanderbilt Commodores fell to Ole Miss 27-16 on Saturday. Each week names a player of the week along with listing other key Commodore standouts. Look inside to see who earned the honors this week.

Torren McGaster

McGaster, a redshirt junior from Daphne, Ala., finished the game with seven tackles including six solos and two for losses. He also broke up two passes. McGaster had a touchdown saving tackle of Ole Miss's Jordan Wilkins that was initially called a touchdown but after review it was determined that McGaster had forced him out of bounds just short of the goal line. His efforts were instrumental in helping his team limit the nation's most prolific offense to just 27 points.


RB Ralph Webb: Webb had 25 carries for 90 yards with a long of 43 yards. He also caught two passes for 11 yards and one touchdown.
OLB Stephen Weatherly: Weatherly had three tackles including one for a loss, one 12-yard sack, a forced fumble, a pass breakup and two quarterback hurries.
