The 1-2 Titans of the Horizon League have played two of three on the road, losing both games away from home. Detroit most recently fell to Oral Roberts 100-95. A quick glance of the schedule and you can make the assumption that Detroit can score in bunches but has problems defending.
Six-foot-5 senior guard Anton Wilson currently leads the Titans in Scoring, averaging 15 points. Chris Jenkins and guard Carlton Brundidge each average 14 points a game. Six players average in double figures for the Titans, including two non-starters.
A quick look at the stats reveals couple things. First off, Wilson and Jenkins are the biggest threats from three. Brundidge is a non-starter but plays over 23 minutes a game. He's got a stellar assist to turnover ratio.
Overall, the Titans appear to be a very athletic and talented team that could give Vandy trouble like we saw in the recent Stony Brook game.
Wednesday's game with Detroit will tip off at 7:00 pm and will be shown on SEC Network Plus.
