The Bears are 5-1 on the season with their only loss coming in their lone road game against Oregon.
Baylor has an excellent offense averaging 85.8 points per game and a defense that has not allowed opponents to score more than 75 points in 51 consecutive games.
Baylor is outstanding at generating second chance shots, ranking 20th in the country averaging 13.3 offensive rebounds per game.
Rico Gathers leads the team averaging 10 rebounds per game and is only nine boards away from breaking the school record of 915 in his career.
Starting sophomore Al Freeman is the Bear's top three point threat and freshman King McClure is also a force off the bench hitting 50 percent from behind the arc.
Also, very productive off the bench is Johnathan Motley who is second on the team in scoring and tied for second in rebounds.
Motley started every game last season as a freshman for the Bears and is now flourishing as their sixth man.
Lester Medford commands the Baylor offense and leads the team in both steals and assists.  The Bears are one of the best in the country in taking care of the ball, ranking 16th in assist to turnover ratio.
