Vanderbilt offers California athlete Jordan Genmark-Heath

Three-star athlete Jordan Genmark-Heath, who plays for Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego, has been offered by Vanderbilt.

Jordan Genmark-Heath is a player who seems to truly value education.  He could play a variety of positions in college, including wide receiver, running back or in the defensive secondary.

Genmark-Heath announced in tweet on Friday night that he had an offer from the Commodore staff.

SD Coastal Sports had some great things to say about Genmark-Heath's play when he was only a sophomore.

"There’s “freaks of nature” and then there is this guy. Every time the ball came in his direction, whether on offense or defense, a jaw-dropping play was sure to ensue. Could very possibly be considered one of the best sophomores in the county."

In addition to Vandy, the Swedish born Genmark-Heath has numerous offers already including from Washington State, Oregon State, Boston College, Cal and San Diego State among others.

One last interesting tidbit, Genmark-Heath was the starting QB Swedish Jr National Team European Championships 2012.
