In a tweet Anderson expressed that he was thankful for the opportunities that football opened for him and proud to say that he was committed to Vanderbilt. Anderson had visited Vandy in March for the spring game and apparently liked what he saw. He was recruited by Vandy linebackers coach Chris Marve.
Killen is a town about 95 miles southwest of Nashville, just below the state line with Tennessee.
The 6-foot-2, 210 pound Anderson had 78 tackles for Brooks high school in 2015 despite missing several games with an injury.
Anderson, a 3-star Scout.com prospect, had over 30 offers including from Michigan, Iowa, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Louisville and Arkansas, in addition to Vandy.
Vanderbilt now has two commits for the 2017 recruiting crop. For a complete list of Vandy commits click HERE.null
