The New Jersey 4-star is highly regarded on the recruiting trail. His father played quarterback at the University of Alabama and the younger Walters will also play his collegiate football in the Southeastern Conference. Standing 6'1 200 lbs, Walters is a strong armed passer with great accuracy and the ability to make all the tough throws. He is also very mobile and can move in the pocket. Walters is also a strong leader and has been a two year starter for his high school team.

Walters choose Vanderbilt over offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan, Ole Miss, Missouri, Rutgers, Texas A&M and others.
