Adding local prospects is always important for head coach Derek Mason and his Vanderbilt Commodores. Blackman (TN) running back Master Teague has been a priority prospect for the Dores going on two years now and today. the 4-star back included Vanderbilt in his final twelve.
Going forward, Teague will be looking at the ACC, SEC and an hopeful offer from a Big 10 program.
Vanderbilt is one of eight schools have who have offered Teague that made the final cut. Four schools in Alabama, Clemson, LSU and Ohio St. made his final list but have yet to offer. It is a certainly if not all those will offer, some eventually will.
The Commodores have hosted Teague on multiple occasions for visits, including taking in the Commodores 38-19 victory over Ole Miss last season.
The Mufreesboro area running back added a Vanderbilt offer over a year ago and has remained in contact with the staff since. It is uncertain right now as to when Teague will be ready to make a commitment. Don't expect one anytime soon as the 4-star recruit will more than likely take all five official visits before he is ready to decide.
Last season as a junior, Teague rushed the ball 242 times for 2,031 yards with an 8.4 yards per carry averaging while scoring 24 touchdown's. His return as a senior gives his Blackman Blaze team a chance at competing for a state title in the 2018 season.
