Commodores land commitment from 3-star Florida Athlete

Vanderbilt conducted their 2nd Jr Day event of the season yesterday and their efforts paid off big time today. The Commodores hosted American Heritage (FL) athlete Miles Jones on campus yesterday and today he officially pledged his allegiance to Vanderbilt.

Vanderbilt has secured their 2nd commitment of the 2018 recruiting class today with the addition of American Heritage (FL) athlete Miles Jones.

Scout has Jones listed as a 3-star recruit and is considered one of the top athletes in the country. Vanderbilt targeted Jones early on as a must need recruit and put in the time and efforts needed to add his commitment.

Jones was in Nashville yesterday, attending the Commodores Spring Showcase and a part of Vanderbilt's 2nd Junior Day event. The Florida native has been a top target for Vanderbilt over a year now and this weekend's efforts went a long way towards adding the 3-star recruit.

A dynamic play maker, Jones is a versatile offensive threat who has the ability to find the end zone any time he touches the ball. Jones doesn't really have a position as he could line up on offense in multiple ways. He could play running back, work in the slot or be lined out wide as a receiver. Jones is also a home run hitter in the return game as well.

Vanderbilt is nowhere close to done in their 2018 recruiting class but today. they might have added their most important offensive prospect as Jones is someone who could make a difference on the Commodores football team the moment he steps on campus.
