Vanderbilt's 2018 recruiting efforts have paid off over the past several weeks, adding a pair a big commitments. Another 3-star recruit named the Commodores among his top ten schools on Tuesday night and Vanderbilt is the lone SEC school in contention.
IMG Academy (FL) defensive tackle Josh Walker has received over 30 college offers and has been active name on the recruiting trail for two years now but on Tuesday night, the interior lineman narrowed things down to a final ten schools with the Commodores cracking the list.
Vanderbilt has been actively recruiting Walker for over two years now and have remained in touch since the start of the process. Walker is originally from Carrollton, Georgia but transferred down to IMG to compete against some of the best high school players in the country while positioning himself to attend a high quality football program.
Walker has visited Vanderbilt once before but hasn't been on campus in a while. Their is a plan out there for Walker to return to Nashville sometime over the next two months.
Even though Walker named his top ten and appears closer to making a decision, don't expect the 3-star lineman to make a commitment until sometime this fall. He will more than likely take all five of his official visits before deciding on a school.
