Atlanta area corner back Tre Douglas has been a wanted man on the recruiting scene for some time now and things appear to be dwindling down for the 3-star secondary recruit.
Douglas took to Twitter this afternoon to release his top seven schools and the Vanderbilt Commodores made the list.
The Commodores along with LSU are the lone SEC schools to make the final cut. Florida St, Clemson, Stanford, Ohio St and Virginia Tech finish off his top seven and as of now, nobody appears to be in the lead for Douglas.
Vanderbilt hosted the 3-star recruit on campus last month when Douglas attended one of the Commodores Junior Day events. By all accounts, Douglas had an outstanding time while in Nashville and that visit to campus, could of played a big role in Vanderbilt making his final seven.
A timeline for a decision has not been set by Douglas. More than likely, he will continue to research schools and take more visits before he narrows things down any further. As he mentioned in his Twitter post, Douglas said his top seven is subject to change, so things within his recruitment could change as time goes along.
Either way, Vanderbilt has positioned themselves nicely for one of the top cover corners in the South and their pursuit of Douglas will continue as we go through the upcoming months ahead.
