West Monroe (La) athlete Slade Bolden became one of the top offensive prospects from Louisiana early in the 2017 recruiting process and attained multiple power five offers from some of the top football programs in the country but now he has focused in on a top ten and looks to give his commitment to one of these final ten schools....
Vanderbilt is one of five SEC schools to make Bolden's final ten. The Commodores are joined by Alabama, LSU, Arkansas and Ole Miss from the SEC along with Arizona St, TCU, Louisiana Tech, Washington and Texas Tech to complete his final ten.
Bolden is a do it all type prospect who can line up in multiple positions on offense while also being a dynamic threat in the return game. Vanderbilt targeted Bolden early on as someone who could add a versatile, dynamic threat to their offense along with being a true student athlete within their campus.
A decision date for a commitment has not been set by Bolden and it is unknown as to when he will be ready to decide. Look for Bolden to take multiple visits over the next few months and gain a better perspective about the schools he is focused on.
Vanderbilt made the first cut for Bolden but they will need to stay after it as other power programs will remain in the mix.
