Daniel Lee is a place kicker that was brought in by Vanderbilt at the last minute over the weekend for an official visit. He got a call Friday afternoon and was on a plane Friday night. How did his trip go?

"The visit to Vanderbilt was very good," said Lee. "The facilities are very nice, and the academics are obviously top notch. The campus was smaller than most of the others I have been to, but I liked the feel. My host was Punter, Kyle Keown. He was a great guy, and we had a really good time. I was able to meet a lot of the players, and I really felt like I could be a part of their family, Coaches included. I spent most of my time with Coach Johnson and Coach Cain. These guys are as good as it gets. I could see myself being very happy spending 4 years under them."

"Unfortunately, I did not receive an offer on my visit as they are closing in on the number of scholarships that they have available and are suppose to be letting me know something this week. They have a soccer player coming in this weekend from Atlanta that I think they might be wanting to take a chance on converting him into a place kicker."

"I have canceled my visit to Wisconsin for this weekend, and I am now in the process of setting one up to Kentucky. I was going to go down to South Florida but I was there on an unofficial back in the summer so I know what its all about."

"I actually look to make a decision in the next couple days with the new interest from Kentucky and my original interest in the South Florida and Pittsburgh offers, I think it will come down to them unless I hear back from Vanderbilt. Then I would have to really take a hard look at them."

Vanderbilt has not offered Lee yet, but he still has several good choices to choose from.
