Strengths: Defensive secondary, Wide Receiver, Linebacker

Weaknesses: Defensive line, Quarterback

Key Game: South Carolina, Sept 8.  Georgia got off on the wrong foot last season by dropping a road game to the 'Cocks.

Coach Richt says: "Number one is depth up front on the offensive and defensive lines. The teams with quality depth are those that get stronger as the game goes on, and as season goes on, if I do have injury to front line players, second teamers with experience have to be ready to go. Quarterback is a concern, but I feel either one can do a good job."

Overall projection: Georgia is a loaded with talent, along with rest of the SEC.   However, expect the Dogs to win five to seven games and be a middle of the SEC East team.  A new coaching will be in place and that alone will set back the Dogs some.
