DB Joel Caldwell could join his brother at Vandy

Joel Caldwell is a quick defensive back prospect that has drawn the attention of at least one school already. Vanderbilt has offered Caldwell a scholarship, and it's possible that he could end up joining his older brother Jason with the Commodores.

"Vanderbilt offered me a scholarship after camp," said Caldwell. "I went to Alabama's camp last weekend, and I'm still going to Southern Miss, Auburn, and Georgia for camps this summer."

With a brother in Nashville, is Caldwell ready to name a leader?

"I have a Top 5 of Vanderbilt, Alabama, Clemson, Marshall, and Southern Miss."

What does Caldwell like about each of his favorite schools?

Vanderbilt - I might be able to play early there, and they are recruiting me the hardest.
Alabama - Both of my parents went to Alabama, and they are upgrading their facilities.
Clemson - They have a great fan following.
Marshall - They've been recruiting me hard, and I like the shot at early playing time.
Southern Miss - I've just always liked Southern Miss, and I think I could play early there too.
