Back from Vanderbilt

Bobby Greenwood of Prattville High School is one of the top defensive ends in Alabama. Greenwood attended the Vanderbilt/South Carolina in Nashville, and he discusses the games he plans to attend in the near future.

Despite the loss the Commodores took from South Carolina, Bobby Greenwood enjoyed his visit.

"It was pretty fun. It was good to be behind the scenes and see what all goes on. It was too bad they lost. I was hoping they would pull out a win," said Greenwood.

Greenwood was able to speak with several coaches and believes Vanderbilt will have a good year.

"I talked to my recruiting coach, Coach Fisher. I talked to Coach Bobby Johnson and to my position coach, Coach Turner. I think Vanderbilt has a lot of potential. They have a young quarterback. He is really good."

This weekend, The three-star defensive end will travel to Tuscaloosa.

"I am going to the Alabama/Ole Miss game. Then, the week after that, I am going to the Florida State/UAB game."

Greenwood is still considering Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, and Vanderbilt.

When asked about a leader, Greenwood replied, "Not yet, I am still probably going to wait until the end of the season before I make a decision," said Greenwood.

"Florida, Southern Miss, Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, and Vanderbilt all called me last week," Greenwood added.

Prattville is starting out on the right path to end their season with a state championship trophy.

"Things have been going really good. We are 2-0. Our offense is looking really good. We have a sophomore quarterback and he is doing great. He does not play like a sophomore. We beat Minor this past week 45-14. We play Selma at Prattville this Friday," said Greenwood.
