Kendric Price nearly pulled the trigger on his visit this past weekend to Vanderbilt, but he wants to take at least one more visit. The 6-8 senior forward from BB&N (Mass.) plans to take one more official trip, to Michigan, this weekend.
The highlight for Price, who came on strong late in the summer, was getting a chance to go up against the Commodores players.
"I was surprised that I can really play with them and get minutes," Price said. "I have much more confidence in my game now."
It's not that Price lacks confidence. It's just that BB&N hardly plays a challenging schedule and Price isn't tested very often in high school.
Price, who excels in the classroom and also has a wide variety of interests that includes singing and playing the piano.
"I want to take a visit to Michigan just to have something to compare to Vanderbilt," Price said. "But I know I could be very happy at Vanderbilt."
