Przybyszewski: Rebounding will be key vs. Bearcats

VandyMania spoke with Vanderbilt senior Dawid Przybyszewski about about his recent slump and the upcoming game at Cincinnati.

VandyMania: Your teammate Julian Terrell had a great game scoring 14 points, what are your thoughts on his performance.

Dawid Przybyszewski: He played awesome. In the first half he gave us the big spark we needed. I got into foul trouble early. It was really unfortunate and I really regretted that. I think he played his best game so far offensively and he was very active. I have to compliment him for that.

VM: You seem to be in kind of a rut offensively as far as scoring. What do you think you can do differently against Cincinnati to perform better and help your team?

Dawid: I think we need to stop relying as much on the 3-point shot as we did in the past because today it wasn't as effective as we thought it would be. We need to get the ball inside and use our stregth and size and hopefully we won't be in foul trouble at Cincinnati.

VM: What kind of other things will your team need to do differently in order to come away with a 'W' at Cincinnati?

Dawid: Of course we have to play defense and conduct our transition better. I think they are a very athletic team. Offensive boards and rebounds are very important because, as I've heard, Cincinnati lives off the missed shots. We need to box out and do our job defensively. Top Stories
