Three standout players commit to Vandy

Vanderbilt head coach Bobby Johnson received three commitments this weekend from a fullback, running back and punter.

Vanderbilt football coach Bobby Johnson received three more commitments this weekend.  Kwane Doster, a talented running from Florida; Brad Anderson, a bruising linebacker/fullback from Maryland; and Greg Johnson, a booming punter from Georgia.

Brad Anderson- FB/LB The 6-1, 230 pounder was named named to the Maryland Big School All-State team, which includes Class 4A and 3A schools. Named to the second team All-Metro Washington DC squad by the Washington Post.

Kwane Doster- RB (5-11, 175) Rushed 129 times for 1292 yards during his senior year at Robinson High School in Tampa, Florida. Had 353 yards rushing in one game. Had over 4,600 yards rushing during his high school career.

Greg Johnson- P (6-2, 185) Named to the ESPN/School Sports All-American team as a punter. Averaged 41 yards a punt as a senior.  Also a standout place kicker.  The Parkview Panthers were state champions in Georgia in class AAAAA both 2001 and 2000, and posted a perfect record of 15-0 both seasons.

This brings the number of commits to Vanderbilt to 17.  Commitments are non-binding.
