Vanderbilt offers St. Louis LB/DE

Good quickness and hard hitting best describe Quentin Davie (6-4, 200). Davie, a senior to be at Cardinal Ritter Prep School, got his second offer of the early recruiting season.

The Vanderbilt Commodores became the second school to offer Quentin Davie. His first offer came from the Duke Blue Devils. Davie is also drawing interest from Georgia Tech, Kansas State, Iowa, Missouri and Northwestern.

As a junior Davie had 74 tackles, 6 sacks, and one fumble recovery. On offense, he caught five receptions for 89 yards and rushed for 425 yards on 75 carries totaling seven touchdowns.

"Quentin is a very tough kid," said coach Michael Baker. "You'd look at his skinny frame, and probably think of a finesse player, but he will knock you out."

Davie, who is also a standout basketball player, is fully qualified academically, scoring a 3.4 GPA in the classroom and a 19 ACT score. Top Stories
