REMARKS: Vanderbilt last faced the Spiders in 2001, coming away with a 28-22 win. The Spiders were able to put up a spirited fight against the 'Dores just a few days after 9-11. Richmond's biggest offensive weapon's are senior Stacy Tutt, who passed 2,156 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2004. Senior tailback David Freeman returns after rushing for 968 yards in 2004. Harry Wilson snared 56 passes in 2004 for the Spiders. On defense junior linebacker Adam Goloboski netted 116 stops a year ago for Richmond.

EARLY PREDICTION: Richmond is a good I-AA team that could create problems for Vandy if the 'Dores are looking ahead to MTSU. Expect Vandy to take care of business and dominate Richmond from start to finish.
