New Hampshire star lists Vandy in top 5

One of the top prospects in New England lists Vanderbilt in his choices of schools.

New Hampton (N.H.) wide receiver/defensive back Warren Wilson (6-1, 185, 4.5) denies a leader--but names Boston College, Northwestern, Penn State (first to offer), Purdue and Vanderbilt as his top five.

"Everybody is even out of that list and they have all offered," said Wilson, from The New Hampton School. "I know that I want to make my decision on a school before the start of the season or early into it.

"I've been to camps so far at Northwestern and Boston College, and I'm going to also get out to Purdue for an unofficial visit at the end of the month (7/30).

"All these schools are recruiting me as wide receiver. Boston College is recruiting me as a DB, but the coaches there said it probably won't be a problem for me to try for a spot at wide receiver. I like playing wide receiver over defensive back anyway," he said.

"I really like Boston College because they're a local program and I really liked it there when I was at their camp. They're definitely one of my top choices. I will know where I'll be going for all my official visits in the next few weeks," added Wilson.

"The camp at Northwestern also went well. I did really good there because they ended up offering me after camp."

Wilson claims that location will not factor into this decision.

"I've got some great game speed and the coaches have all told me they like the way that I run my routes and how I use my hands. I want to work on getting stronger and faster for this season."
