REMARKS: South Carolina stunned the world when they enticed offensive genius Steve Spurrier to Columbia after Lou Holtz left coaching. Spurrier has cleaned house in Columbia and only has a handful of offensive starters returning.

EARLY PREDICTION: Steve Spurrier is a very competetive coach who won't accept losing. Vandy will be walking into a hornets nest in Columbia. By the 7th game of USC's season the team will be starting to come together, especially after a big confidence building win over Kentucky the week prior. Vandy will churn up some yards in this game and put some points on the board but the 'Cocks will prevail.
