RB Randy Dupree (6-0, 205, 4.60 forty)
(Etowah HS) Attalla, Ala. What is the primary position you play? Do you play any other positions?
Randy Dupree: Tailback. I also play free safety. Can you tell us some of your junior season stats, highlights and postseason honors?
Randy Dupree: In seven games I had around 1,100 yards rushing. One defense I had about 42 tackles. I made the All-Area team and was selected Player of the Week four or five times. I also played in the Junior Alabama All-Star game. Has your team played yet this season?
Randy Dupree: No, not yet. We start out this Friday. What do you feel is your biggest strengths as a player?
Randy Dupree: Probably my vision. I think I have good vision. I think I have pretty good size and I have pretty good speed to go along with size. What schools are currently recruiting you?
Randy Dupree: I think if there's a school out there, I'm being recruited by them [laughter]. Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, UAB, Tennessee, Clemson and Southern Miss. Who has offered you scholarships?
Randy Dupree: Alabama has offered me. Nobody else has. Auburn as going to offer me but I told them that I was just going to wait until after my season. I was just going to focus on my senior season first before I made any of those decisions. So Vanderbilt hasn't offered you?
Randy Dupree: I don't really know. Word was going around that they did, my coach said something about it but I don't really know if they did. What schools do you think you are leaning towards right now?
Randy Dupree: I'm probably going to stay in state if I can help it, Alabama, Auburn; I'm leaning towards one of them. But it's still open right now. It's where ever I think I can fit in and play. What are some of the things you like about Vanderbilt?
Randy Dupree: I like their academics. I mean I'm very strict on academics. I like to play football too but I think academics go along with it and I like that about Vanderbilt. How are they telling you you'd be utilized at Vandy?
Randy Dupree: As a running back. Everybody is recruiting me as a running back. I only played defense one year. I can also play receiver too if needed.
