Scott Feinstein picks the SEC

Week 8 is upon us. My picks have been very poor thus far in 2005. I am doing well straight up but very poorly vs. the spread. This week I'm going to be short and sweet and try to change my luck.

Last Week: (3-1) vs. spread : (1-3) Yearly : (35-13) vs. spread : (20-23)

Arkansas (+20) @ Georgia: Georgia wins, Hogs cover late. Georgia 31 Arkansas 14

Kentucky (+10) @ Ole Miss: What a huge match up!! The winner of this game will definitely... Err... never mind. Who cares!! Ole Miss 27 Kentucky 20

Houston @ Miss St (-2): A great rivalry is renewed this weekend when the Cougars meet the Bulldogs. Err, wait... again, never mind. Sigh. What a great game!! Miss St 29 Houston 24

Auburn @ LSU (-6): LSU is the real deal. This weekend they finally stop all the turnovers and put together a complete game. LSU 34 Auburn 10

Tennessee (+4) @ Alabama: Tennessee has a week off and Bama has serious injury concerns at the wide out spots. Vols in a close one. Tennessee 23 Alabama 20

Vanderbilt (+8) @ South Carolina: Vanderbilt revives its bowl hopes with a win vs. SC. The offense gets back on track and the D has just enough to preserve the win. Vandy stays undefeated on the road in 2005. Vanderbilt 38 South Carolina 31
