Once again I prove that I haven't a clue when it comes to picking college football games. My only consolation is that I'm in very good company. Pundits all over the county are having terrible years. I'm just one of the multitude.

(2-3 last week, 55-16 overall)

Alabama @ Auburn – Definitely the headliner game of the SEC this weekend. Alabama has proven themselves to be mortal, and the Plainsmen will be more than happy to finish them off. Tigers 17-13.

Mississippi State @ Arkansas – Not much at stake in this game but a recruiting edge for the winner in the Western reaches of the SEC. Arkansas 24-15.

Kentucky @ Georgia – No way the Dawgs roll over and play dead for the Mildcats like Vandy did for them last week. Georgia has their eyes firmly set on the SEC East title, and Kentucky can do little to stop them. UGA 35-17.

LSU @ Mississippi – LSU is going to the SEC title game after disposing of a few tidbits. Arkansas next week. This week, LSU 39–13.

Clemson @ South Carolina – Evidently all Steve Spurrier has to do is roll the ball about onto the field to secure a win. I can't see any reason to pick against the GameChickens. SC 24-21.

Vandy @ UTK – The big orange has the perfect quarterback and the perfect offense to beat the Commodores. The QB throws short passes, Vandy concedes short passes. I predict Tennessee will score on every possession that doesn't end in a turnover. Vandy will continue to drop passes and fumbles, and figures to have at least two blocked kicks. Cutler will spend most of this game on his butt, as the Commodores patched-up offensive fails to keep out the Tennessee defense. UTK 42 – Vandy 14.
