Profile 2003 - Justin Warren (DE)

Warren is one of the top prospects from the state of Texas. Right now, he has two favorites. Vanderbilt is in the mix for this fine athlete.

Justin Warren is one of the top defensive prospects from the Lone Star State. He plays at Tyler (Tex.) Lee High School. Justin is a distant cousin of former high school All-American David Warren (FSU).

"I believe I am the best pass rusher in the state," said Warren. "I am quick off the ball and have good speed. Everyone runs away from me so I have to chase everything down. That is how I make most of my tackles. I am also the type of player that plays hard on every down. My motor is always running."

Last season as a junior, Warren recorded 78 tackles and 6 sacks. According to the defensive end standout, he has scholarship offers from Texas, Texas Tech, Baylor, LSU, Vanderbilt, Kansas, Kansas State, Colorado, and TCU.

"Texas and Texas A&M are my top two schools. They both have great tradition and I have teammates at both schools. I have been to A&M twice but they have not offered me yet. It should come any day now. Texas has offered and they are big time. I also like LSU and others. It will likely come down to where I feel the most comfortable."

Warren hopes to camp this summer at Texas and Texas A&M.
